Industry Night
Industry professionals are brought in to teach students about new innovations in the Civil Engineering twice per month on average.
Lunch and Learn
Lunch and Learns allow CVT students to connect with an industry professional who presents a topic relevant to the field. This allows the students to gain an understanding of the application of their course material in the real world.

Concrete Toboggan
The Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race is the largest and longest running Canadian undergraduate Engineering Competition, celebrating it’s 46th year in 2020. GNCTR is a multidisciplinary challenge, where teams must construct a toboggan that satisfies a number of requirements.

ABOUT
Civil Engineering Club is an academic club which connects students with Industry, promotes learning through organized events and lunch and learn activities.
Volunteerism within the community is often taken on with time permitting, club members attend local school events and assist with building projects around the Calgary area.
Students can sign up for the CVT Club through their cohorts room representative, or at one of the monthly meetings.
They can also sign up through SAITSA Clubs
